Our two-day BAT/EBT/INSTRUCTOR course for NRC certifies students as proficient in the training of BATs and Calibration Technicians. The program includes 1 day of BAT/EBT training on the NRC Part 26 alcohol collection procedures as well as EBT instrument training and Calibration Technician training in a classroom setting.
In addition, on the 2nd day, the instructor will provide familiarity with NRC requirements for training BATs, advanced EBT and Cal Tech theory, testimony issues, plus detailed training modules for instructing BATs in EBT Proficiency and calibration.
After successful completion of the Intoximeters Instructor course, you will be authorized to train Calibration Technicians and have the factory issue the certificates. You cannot get that authorization from anyone BUT the factory and we do require an annual refresher (by on-line or fax exam) to maintain that authorization.
