This is a 2 year extended warranty (on top of the one year standard warranty) on any and all issues and failures to the instrument (including labor), for reasons other than abuse, misuse or accidental damage. This warranty protects the entire instrument for the first 3 years after purchase.
Warranty covers parts, labor and return shipping from the factory on the unit. The customer may send their instrument in for unlimited accuracy checks and calibrations during the duration of the extended warranty period. Customer pays shipping to send the instrument to the factory.
The customer may purchase an extended warranty at the time of purchase or at any time during the original one year warranty period without returning the unit for check‐out. The new warranty will begin at the end of the original warranty period. An extended warranty may be written and renewed on request without the unit being returned for inspection as long as the unit is still covered under the original warranty. Each warranty purchased is assigned to a specific instrument and serial number and can not be used to service any instrument other than the one it was purchased for.
