This is a 2-year extended warranty (in addition to the one-year standard warranty) on all issues, failures, and replacement of the fuel cell, for reasons other than abuse, misuse, or accidental damage.
Customers may choose to purchase an extended warranty at the time of instrument purchase or at any time during the original one-year warranty period without returning the unit for check-out. The new warranty simply begins at the end of the original warranty period, providing protection for 3 years after purchase.
Each warranty purchased is assigned to a specific instrument and serial number and cannot be used to service any instrument other than the one for which it was purchased.
